Kuehner was a key member of the Louisville bullpen for the last four years and collected nine saves over the last two seasons. In 2023 the 6-foot-1, 195-pound senior posted a 4.14 ERA over 37 innings with a 31.4% strikeout rate and 12.2% walk rate. The lefthander isn’t overpowering, but does have good feel on the mound and can work extended outings. His fastball gets into the low 90s and it plays up thanks to his lower arm slot. He pairs it with a big breaking ball in the upper 70s and will also mix in a low-80s changeup.
